Experience Valkenburg's cycling history in the cave by bike

Together with the guide, cycle through the city cave to the cycling museum, where famous cyclists such as Raymond Meijs, Marcel Kint and Philippe Gilbert left their autographs.

Since the first World Cup in 1938, all important cycling moments in Valkenburg have been recorded by local artists. Each plaque tells a unique story that is shared during the tour. According to local tradition, these special moments are recorded in the cave system of the city cave at the bottom of the Cauberg.

After your tour of the municipal cave, you can ride a beautiful custom route through the Marl country or create your own toch t through the hill country. Enjoy the marl buildings, hills and vistas along the way. There is ample opportunity for nice (terrace) stops along the way.

Enjoy a Burgundian route through the beautiful hill country on this unique two-wheeler. You will feel the lovely wind in your hair as the route takes you through the rolling South Limburg countryside.

You will make a culinary stop where a Burgundian '12-hour' lunch is waiting for you including a drink of your choice ( excluding alcoholic beverages).  With the help of our free route map you will make a nice tour through our beautiful Heuvelland. As a couple or in a group, we have the Limburg Burgundian feeling for everyone!

To the Klimbos (Treetop Adventure)

Ride a beautiful, signposted cycling route on your own and enjoy the hills and forests of the Brunssummerheide along the way. You can choose an E-bike, E-bakfiets or a scooter (these have to be booked separately and are not included in the package) and on arrival you can use the climbing route under supervision or first relax at Almhutte at Park het Plateau. After "work done", you will return to Valkenburg via another beautiful cycling route.

A great day out in South-East Limburg for a family or company outing.

Tried and tested. No just any e-bike can be used when biking in hilly countrysides. The Cycle Center e-bike is fitted with a high capacity battery or even two batteries. We're proud that all e-bikes are 100% charged with green energy and thus have a minimal carbon footprint. Biking upto 75 km in the region is possible, without even breaking a sweat.

E-Scooter

A new electric take on the scooter! Enjoy a nice tour in our region and visit the most beautiful places. Note: because of the many hills you don't have an unlimited range. We always supply route suggestions that take the range into account. It's possible to ride the E-Scooter with two people, but this limits the range as well. Driving license required!

E-ATB Hardtail

This E-ATB with front suspension features a powerful mid-motor and 500 wh battery, giving it a realistic range of 50-60 km. Always fitted with a Shimano Deore or similar group, this bike is ready for adventure. Please note! This bike is not suitable for touring on paved roads.

E-ATB Fully

The full suspension electric mountainbike has a Yamaha motor with 625 wh batterypack or more. The frame has 29 inch tyres and is fitted with hydraulic disc brakes and has XT or comparable shiftinggroup. The range for this e-bike, using it off-road, is around 60 to 70 km. Offroad tyres are fitted; for on-road use we advise the normal e-bike.

ATB 29'er

The ATB 29‘ er is our lightweight mountain bike with 29’er wheels, 1 x 12 Shimano SLX groupset (or similar), disc brakes and suspension fork. If you want that one ‘ King of the Mountain’ then this is the bike for it! Equipped with combination pedals with SPD on one side and a flat pedal on the other. We recommend using cycling shorts, these are not available for rent.

Children's ATB

E-Cargo bike

The Urban Arrow E-cargo bike is a super comfortable way to enjoy a bike ride with younger children. The e-bike, equipped with a Bosch Cargo Line motor, has a realistic range of 35 to 45 km, depending on your route. There is plenty of space at the front for two small children (up to 6 years old) to sit side by side with seat belts. If you're planning a ride with your baby or toddler, you can use a maxi-cosi adapter or a child seat. If you'd like a maxi-cosi adapter or child seat installed, don’t forget to add it as an extra. Additionally, you have the option to rent an extra battery, which can extend the range from 40 km to 70 km. Maximum weight of the cargo area: 45 kg.
